The dust has settled, the cheers have faded, and another profitable Cheltenham Festival has come to a close. As the bookies nurse their wounds, we reflect on the four days of heart-pounding action and can't wait to share with you how we got on at PSA.
We hit the ground running on Day 1, with Mystical Power placing and returning full stake back, Gaelic Warrior romping up the hill to win securing 3.26 points profit for members, and Chianti Classico flying home at 6/1, winning 1.80 points profit off of a 0.25 points each way stake. Our predictions for the favourites Stateman and Lossiemouth were right on the money and we kicked off with a profitable day of +4.06 points profit.
Day 2 saw us continue our winning streak with Ballyburn winning comfortably. Some bookmakers had Ballyburn at 1/1 (2.00) to win and members were advised to avail of this. Fact To File returned 1.46 points of pure profit, and Langer Dan won, advised at SEVEN-TO-ONE (8.00). We wisely avoided the biggest upset of the festival, El Fabiolo. Our members enjoyed a profit of +3.46 points, bringing our festival profit to +7.12.
Grey Dawning got us off to a flyer on day 3, securing 2.76 points profit for Whop members. We took 2.20 points profit home from the redemption of Teahupoo , and Inothewayyourthinkin won the last race, from which we collected a cool 1.88 points profit. This secured our best day yet with a profit of +4.34 points. With a total festival profit of +11.46, the excitement in the exclusive Pro Sports Advice discord was palpable as we headed into the final day.
Despite some setbacks on Day 4, including losses with Reading Tommy Wrong, Its On the Line, and Allegorie De Vassy, we still managed to maintain our profitability for the festival. Our "To Be Placed" angle on Kargrese ensured 1.1 points profit, Favoir and Quai De Bourbon placed at each way odds of 7/1 and 5/1 respectively. For the Gold Cup, we mentioned that Galopin Des Champs was the rightful favourite, which went on to win at 5/6 (1.83).However, at Pro Sports Advice, we strive to find the best possible value in our bets and we went with a "To Be Placed" angle on Gerri Colombe at 5/4 (2.25) for 1.25 points profit, more than we would have had with Galopin Des Champs. This left us with a narrow -0.40 points deficit for the day.
In total, we secured a huge +11.06 points profit for Cheltenham Festival 2024, with 19 out of the 26 races returning an ROI with our staking plan. From Day 1's huge start to Day 4's muddy conclusion, it's been an unforgettable journey filled with highs, lows, and everything in between.
